Daniel Onifade

Employment and Immigration Lawyer

Daniel Onifade practices Employment and Immigration Law in Edinburgh. He is also a Diversity trainer/consultant and has so been for over 10 years.

Born in Nigeria, Daniel has lived in different cultures including Liberia, Canada, Sweden, Germany and England but has chosen to make Scotland home.

Daniel has worked for a number of organisations in Scotland including Citibank, Department of Social Security, Lothian Racial Equality Council and Scottish Homes before deciding to set up on his own in 1996.

As part of his work in the field of Racial Equality, Daniel did a research on Racial Discrimination within Employment in Europe, making a comparative study of the situation in France, Germany and the UK. He also researched on the Experience of Black and Minority Ethnic Police Officers, Support Staff and Resigners in Scotland.

He is married with three children.
