Welcome to SEMPERscotland

Promoting equality and fairness for all

Welcome to the website of SEMPERscotland, the Scottish-wide organisation acting on behalf of minority ethnic staff in the Scottish police service

Message from the Chair

Dilawer Singh

I’m truly proud to be elected to lead an organisation with such high ideals and admirable ambitions.

For the past three years we have worked successfully to support policies and programmes designed to ensure equality of opportunities within the Service and are determined to build on our past achievements to bring the interests of our members and the wider minority ethnic communities to the forefront.

We are greatly encouraged by the interest shown in our work from prominent national and regional agencies including several government departments and youth organisations. And will continue to work publicly and behind the scenes to campaign for the development and progression of minority ethnic police staff.

This website provides an insight into our background; our objectives; the partners we work with; the services we offer and some of the activities we’re involve in.

We hope the website will be a source of useful information to you whatever your reason for visiting.

Dilawer Singh
Chair
